Lent is a time of humble acting and a joyful season of turning back to the first love, the Bishop reminds us.

The Pope urges us to return to God with all our hearts during this Lent and rediscover our relationship with Him and the joy of being loved.

In the homily for the sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Bishop Paul reflects on the Gospel passage where the leper showed great courage and trust to approach Jesus to be healed. He invites us to be ready like Jesus to be healing persons to others who need warmth and closeness in their state of leprosy.

In his message for Lent, Pope Francis invites everyone to “renew our faith, draw from the living waters of hope, and receive with open hearts the love of God.”
